Late 19th century boxwood netsuke of a bathing man crouching before a wooden bucket and rubbing his back with a towel. Nicely carved, even grained unstained boxwood, nice face. Signed MITSUNAGA on the bottom - the artist is listed in NETSUKE by Neil Davey (p. 497, number 1620). Height 1.83 inches.
