Natural agate with eye patterns formed by the etching technique. Made by the ancient agate etching technique, the surface is carved with clear five-eye patterns and covered with thick patina, a type of amulet in Tibetan Buddhism. Tang to Song Dynasty (7th–13th centuries). The five-eye dzi bead symbolizes the "Five Directions God of Wealth" in Tibetan Buddhism; this ancient etched dzi bead is rare in existence, integrating religious and collection values, and is a popular category in dzi bead collection.
