Description
Series 1934 U.S. Silver Certificate One Dollar Note, featuring George Washington at center and the blue Treasury seal at right. This example includes a gutter fold printing error, visible as a faint misalignment in the ink application and margin area, caused when the paper was slightly folded during the printing process. The reverse features the early ornate ONE DOLLAR design in green ink. Silver certificates of this series were redeemable in silver coinage and represent a significant period in U.S. monetary history. Printing anomalies such as this are highly collectible, particularly on early issues. Very Fine (VF); displays moderate circulation wear and light toning with crisp details and strong color. Error feature clearly visible.
