Of rounded ovoid form, skillfully hollowed from translucent honey-brown agate suffused with dark shadow inclusions, the natural markings ingeniously utilized to depict playful boys at leisure amidst rocks and foliage, finely engraved in low relief. The stone of pleasing polish and warm tone, fitted with a carved coral stopper and an associated spoon. Qing Dynasty period.
