Of cylindrical form with gently rounded sides, finely decorated around the exterior in delicate doucai enamels with an animated procession of archaic bronzes, scholar’s objects, and auspicious emblems, all reserved on a creamy white ground above a band of stylised lappets. Qing Dynasty or Republic period.
