Provenance: From the esteemed collection of 'Double Fish Studio', North America. The Double Fish Studio collection reflects the vision and cultivated eye of a renowned architect, whose appreciation for Chinese art was shaped early on under the guidance of the esteemed artist Lai Shaoqi (1915–2000). Over four decades, he assembled a discerning collection of classical and modern Chinese paintings, stele rubbings, and seal carvings, guided by deeply rooted literati tastes. His close ties with artists and cultural figures across East Asia and North America allowed him to acquire works of rare quality and historical significance.
