Description

English, Mid-late 19th Century. Mixed woods. Rectangular box with nacre inlay and geometric striped parquetry on lid and front, the back of the lid lined in blue velvet. Rectangular box with polychrome parquetry diamond and geometric stripes on lid and front, the interior with a fitted paperboard tray and green satin. Diminutive rectangular tatting box with parquetry inlay reading "Tatting" surrounded by geometric borders, the interior with tatting thread and two miniature lace doilies. Rectangular box with nacre inlay 5"h. 10.75"w. 7.5"d. Rectangular box with polychrome parquetry diamond and geometric stripes, 5"h. 10.75"w. 7.75"d. Diminutive rectangular tatting box, 1.5"h. 4"w. 2.25"d.

Condition

Two larger boxes with splits and cracks, some losses.
