This poster was produced to advertise Root Boy Slim and the Sex Change Band at the Marble Bar in Baltimore, Maryland. Dubbed "The Lenny Bruce of the Blues", Slim, who was based in Maryland had a cult following in the late 70s and throughout the 80s largely within the area. The band was best known for their 1978 single "Boogie 'Til You Puke".
