.50RF. 20" barrel. SN: 2499. Bright finish, brass receiver and furniture, walnut stock and forend. Breechloading single shot cartridge carbine with military leaf rear sight, fixed front sight, saddle ring on reverse of receiver and manual extractor. Weak Warner markings on reverse of receiver where they have been obscured by numerous impact marks. Weak traces of a cartouche are present on the reverse wrist. Condition
Good. Bore fair, heavily oxidized and pitted with decent rifling. Barrel with scattered oxidation, surface roughness and some pitting. Frame with a rich butterscotch patina and numerous dings and impact marks. Mechanically functional action, although the half-cock position is not crisp and has no audible click. Wood well worn and refinished, butt with a major diagonal crack through the wrist that is well repaired and actually not particularly noticeable. Otherwise wood with scattered bumps, dings and mars.
