Antique Shanxi Province Armoire Highboy Storage Cabinet
This authentic early 20th-century cabinet from China’s Shanxi Province showcases traditional provincial craftsmanship with its rich original patina and beautifully hand-carved lower apron. The natural aging of the wood gives the piece a warm, organic character only time can create.
The double doors open to reveal four interior shelves, perfect for folded linens, clothing, books, or collectibles. Two upper drawers offer additional storage for smaller items. With its tall form and clean lines balanced by decorative carving, this cabinet blends simplicity with subtle detail—equally at home in traditional, rustic, Wabi-Sabi, or eclectic interiors.
