Description
A set of four Arts and Crafts chairs produced in the Somma workshop of New York between 1900 and 1930, executed in the Yorkshire taste to compete stylistically with the work of Stickley. Crafted in oak, each chair features finely turned legs and stretchers, carved back splats, and visible pin construction reflecting quality workmanship of the period. One measures approximately 37 1/2" H x 17 1/2" W x 16 1/2" D. All remain in good overall condition.
