Description

A 19th century New England Sheraton dressing table in yellow paint, featuring a shaped backsplash decorated with hand-painted foliage and fruit motifs. The two-tier design includes two small upper drawers above a long drawer in the main case, each adorned with hand-painted floral decoration and constructed with dovetailed joinery. Raised on turned legs terminating in shaped feet and retaining its original brass hardware with flower motifs, the piece displays a beautifully worn, aged patina. Measures approximately 37" H x 32 1/2" W x 16" D. Exhibits age-appropriate wear overall, with restoration noted to the backsplash.
