An assortment of Stoddard’s Lectures volumes by John L. Stoddard, including Volumes 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and a supplementary volume. Published by Norwood Press for Balch Brothers Company, dating to the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Each volume features color illustrations and bindings with leather accents, tooling, and gilt decoration. Standard sizes. Volumes 2 and 10 are not present. Shows discoloration, spotting, bends to paper, and wear to bindings and covers consistent with age and use.
