Soapstone Monkeys Sculpture

Description

A carved soapstone sculpture depicting two monkeys in a playful composition, one leaning forward to reach for fruit while the other rests its hands on the back of the first. Set on a rectangular soapstone base with incised details throughout. Measures approximately 3″ H x 1 1/4″ W x 7 1/4″ D. In good condition with light surface wear consistent with age and handling.
