A pair of Victorian-style footstools with turned wooden legs. The smaller example features needlepoint upholstery worked with a floral and fruit motif surrounding the letter “G,” with a stitched border pattern around the rim. The larger footstool is upholstered in a cream-colored floral fabric with patchwork-style designs, finished with a red-and-white wave-pattern trim sewn along the edge. Both retain a worn, aged patina. The larger footstool measures approximately 7 1/4″ H x 11″ W x 8″ D. Shows age-appropriate wear to the surfaces consistent with use.
