Three Majolica Plates

Description

A group of three tin-glazed earthenware Majolica plates decorated with classic motifs. One plate depicts classical youths engaged in a Bacchanalian wine scene, another features a family crest, and the third presents a landscape with a dwelling. One plate measures approximately 1 3/8″ H x 9 3/8″ in diameter. Shows abrasions and crazing inherent to the age and tin-glaze process, with edge wear and small chips present.
