An antique child’s shoo-fly rocking horse of primitive, double-sided construction, cut in the form of a horse with painted details and a central plank seat. The simple silhouette and hand-painted decoration reflect early craftsmanship, while the surface retains a worn, aged patina throughout. Measures approximately 15 1/4″ H x 11 1/2″ W x 32 1/2″ D. Exhibits age-appropriate surface wear with noted separation to the backrest consistent with use and age.
