A pair of chromolithograph prints after works by J. W. Ludlow from Cassell’s Poultry Book, originally published in 1872. One titled Mr. Julius Sichel’s White Cochins, depicting prize-winning White Cochin chickens named Champion and Queen; the other titled Miss Fairhurst Pair of White Dorkings, featuring a rooster and hen and dated 1873. Both printed by Vincent Brooks, Day & Son and housed in wooden frames. Exhibits an aged patina. One measures approximately 17″ H x 14″ W. In good condition with some discoloration consistent with age.
