Two natural history prints after engravings by William Home Lizars, based on original drawings by Sir William Jardine from The Naturalist’s Library, first published in the 1830s. One print depicts Campylopterus latipennis (Blue-throated Sabre-wing), Plate 34, shown perched on a branch; the other illustrates Trochilus mango (Mango Hummingbird), Plate 20, likewise perched. Both are housed in wooden frames with decorative swirl borders. One measures approximately 9 5/8″ H x 11 5/8″ W. In good condition with light wear to the frames consistent with age.
