Antique French Louis XV Style Marquetry Flip Down Secretary Writing Chest with Marble Top
An exceptional quality Antique French Marquetry inlaid Escritoire Writing Cabinet. The fall and Drawers are beautifully inlaid and made up of various coloured woods. The cabinet has dyed birds eye maple wood veneers and is finished with feather banded tulip wood around the edges of the cabinet and drawers. Inside The Cabinets Writing surface has its Original Ebossed Reddish Coloured Leather with several Compartments and Storage Shelves with Beautiful decorative Brass lock and Skeleton Key. The Escritoire is finished with Excellent quality Bronze Gilt Ormolu Mounts, Moulds and Pulls and still retains its original Stunning Multi-colored Veined Beveled Edge Marble Top.
All the locks are original and are in full working order with All four drawers oak lined.
