White metal/base silver, over 1 1/4" height plus the loop. Of Maltese cross form the cross beam centered and each beam dramatically flared to the terminals which are surmounted by diamonds. Charming, with quaint hand chiseled details. Christianity in Ethiopia is traceable to the first century, the Time of Christ, and the persecution of Christians. The New Testament (Acts 8:26-36) records Philip the Evangelist's conversion of an Ethiopian court official in the first century.
