
Lot of Three 19th Century Pistols Including Bacon Single Shot
1.) .36 Cal. 5" barrel length. SN: 26. Buffed bright metal finish worn to mottled brown patina with walnut two piece grips. Single shot percussion pistol showing BACON & CO maker mark on octagonal to flat barrel.
2.) .36 Cal. 4" barrel length. SN: NSN. Metal left in the white mounting varnished wood one piece grips and octagonal to round barrel. DAO single shot percussion underhammer pistol.
3.) 11mm Pinfire. 4.675" barrel length. SN: NSN. Finished in the white with walnut grips mounting twin folding triggers and twin hammers. Double barrel side by side boxlock pistol. Likely of Spanish origin.

Condition
1.) Good. Bore is Dark with oxidation and pitting. Metal finish has brown mottling forming in buffing marks. Grips have handling dents and wear. Action functional.2.) Good. Bore is Dark with patina and pitting. Metal finish appears to have been buffed and shows primarily gray patina. Grips have handling wear, abrasions, and a thin varnish. Action functional.3.) Good. Bores Frosty with some pitting and patina. Metal has been aggressively buffed with some oxidation forming and scattered light pitting. Light engraving weakened. Action nonfunctional as neither hammer locks to the rear or releases.
