.44 Rimfire. 24.5" barrel length. SN: 840C. Blued and casehardened metal finish with straight wrist walnut stock, crescent butt, and two-position rear notch and front blade sights. Single shot lever-action rifle with internal hammer mechanism. Left barrel marked C. HOWARD. PATENTED. Condition
Fair to Good. Bore is Frosty with some light pitting and crisp rifling. Metal finish shows some streaks of blue on the barrel with a primarily even brown patina dominating, and a pale brown forming over the frame and small parts. Stock lightly sanded and shows some handling dents and abrasions, and wood fill behind upper tang. Action fails to cock and release the hammer.
