
Two US M1855 Socket Bayonets, One M1865 Joslyn Rifle Bayonet & Four Scabbards

1) US Model 1865 Joslyn Rifle Socket Bayonet. 20" blade, 3" socket, 23" in overall length. Bright finish, blade marked US/S. Includes a correct length 1864 pattern 8-rivet scabbard with brass tip. Bayonet moderately oxidized and with a mottled gray patina. Locking ring intact and functional. Scabbard with moderate to heavy wear.
2) US Model 1855 Socket Bayonet. 18" blade, 3" socket, 21" in overall length. Bright finish, blade marked US. Metal heavily oxidized with discoloration and pitting. Locking ring intact and functional. Includes a restored 1864 pattern scabbard with an original blackened buff leather 8-rivet frog and a replaced scabbard body and tip.
3) US Model 1855 Socket Bayonet. 18" blade, 3" socket, 21" in overall length. Bright finish, blade marked US. Metal moderately oxidized and cleaned with some discoloration and pitting. Locking ring intact and functional. Includes a worn 1861 pattern scabbard with a 2-rivet frog that has shrunken somewhat and has a heavily dented tip.
4) An old modified socket bayonet scabbard with a small swivel secured frog and to pin brass tip.
