
Two US Civil War Bayonets & 3 Scabbards: M1855 and M1835

1) US M1855 Socket Bayonet. 18" bright blade is unmarked, with a small W inspection on the right of the shank. 3" bright socket with .781" muzzle diameter and locking ring. Includes a well worn 8-Rivet pattern of August 1864 scabbard. Socket marked 142 across the upper rear. Fair to Good overall with moderate wear, surface oxidation and some light rust.
2) A loose US "Pattern of 1839" brass mounted leather scabbard with moderate wear.
3) US M1835 Socket Bayonet. 18" bright blade marked US with a small N inspection above the "US". 2.65" socket missing the locking ring. Includes a brass mounted leather scabbard with frog hook currently referred to as the Pattern of 1839, with moderate wear. Overall about Fair to Good with moderate wear, surface oxidation and some light rust.
