.38 Colt. 4" barrel length. SN: 100806. Blued metal finish with polished hammer flanks mounting checkered COLT logo hardrubber grips. Double action six-shot hand ejector revolver mounting topstrap notch and half-moon front blade sights. Standard markings include {Rampant Colt} logo on the left sideplate, with the left barrel marked COLT POLICE POSITIVE .38. Top of the barrel marked with two-line address and patent mark COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HFARTFORD CT, U.S.A. over patent dates of 1884, 1900, and 1905. {C&R}

Condition
Good. Bore primarily Bright with some patinated spots and crisp rifling throughout. Metal finish shows edgewear, a continuous light turn ring, scratches on the frame and crane, and brown flecking over the barrel, frame, and sideplate. Hammer flanks show some further spots of flecking within polish. Grips retain crisp details with some scratches. Action exhibits good timing.
