
**French Manurhin Walther P.1 Pistol
9mm Para. 4.9" barrel length. SN: 221768. Blued and black anodized metal finish with checkered black synthetic two-piece grips mounting dovetail mounted front blade and rear notch sights. Short-recoil operated DA/SA autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. The left slide shows a circle dot mark followed by MANUFACTURE DE MACHINES MANURHIN PISTOLET P1/DE HAUT-RHIN followed by Made in France. The left frame is likewise circle dot marked and shows a sunburst over the triggerguard. Right slide struck with a French proof mark followed by the {Crossed Cannons} marking. Walther P1 pistols intended to be used by the West Berlin Police were shipped to France for completion and proofing in order to comply with injunctions against German-supplied arms in the city. Item comes with one French blued magazine and one WWII P.38 marked magazine. {C&R}

Condition
Very Good. Bore is dirty with some firing residues that should clean to Very Bright with sharp rifling throughout. Metal finish shows some light edgewear on the slide and frame, some cycling wear, and scattered light abrasions. Both magazines show edgewear and insertion scratches.
