Daughter of duke Charles III of Parma and some grand-daughter of France-Louise d'Artois, Marguerite twice belongs to the Bourbon house (over there parmesan branch and by the direct senior branch). When she got married to the capetian prince Charles of Bourbon (1848-1909) - later, from 1887 To 1909, legitimist pretender to the throne of France - Princess Marguerite of Parma became the wife of the pretender to the throne of Spain and at the throne of France.
