We are pleased to present this Original Grande Ballroom Postcard designed by the late great Detroit artist Gary Grimshaw! This edition advertises The Fugs and the MC5 performing at the venue in November 1967, along with Gang and The Ashmollyan Quintet in support. The Grande Ballroom series produced some of the finest imagery from the 1960s music scene. There was a poster created for this event (we auctioned one earlier this year), in many cases, promoter Russ Gibb chose to produce only postcards to promote events at the Grande.
