This unique comic-styled handbill advertised MC-5 and Jagged Edge performing at the Grande Ballroom in December 1966. The Grande Ballroom series produced some of the finest imagery from the 1960s music scene. This handbill has never appeared in our auction before!

The recent passing of the MC5's founding member and lead guitarist, Wayne Kramer, was a great loss to the world of rock music. MC5 started their music career in Michigan and developed a reputation for energetic and polemical live performances. They were a mainstay at the Grande Ballroom. Their 1969 debut album Kick Out the Jams landed them in the history books. Their importance cannot be overstated.
