The Grande Ballroom series produced some of the finest imagery from the 1960s music scene. The venue, which operated in Detroit in the late 1960s and early 1970s, was the Midwest's premier psychedelic concert hall. Its patron, Russ Gibb, took inspiration from visiting The Fillmore in San Francisco. This card was distributed by the venue in 1968, reading "Good for One Free Trip at the Gran-de Ballroom".
