Graceful and Elegant French Ebonized Writing Desk, commonly called in France Bonheur du jour. Composed of a Single Drawer Table with a small desk top. On the top part are two drawers and a large open compartment. French cabinet making from the Napoleon III period. A Beautiful piece of furniture that's unequivocally characterized by the refined play between blackened Lacquered wood and the brilliance of bronze applications and floral inlays, according to a typical taste widespread in France. Everything rests on Four Elegantly turned and tapered legs Joined by a Perfect Center Turned Stretcher.
