SERIAL NUMBER: 7006i BARREL: 3 7/8" CALIBER: 9MM MANUFACTURED: 1935 This is a rare early Nazi issued "G" Code Luger. The letter G dates to 1935 and was only used for that years production. The toggle has the correct S/42 (Mauser) code and the receiver bears the early dropped winged Eagle over 63 proofs. The "G" dated Lugers were produced in only the second year of manufacture using the secret, single letter code to hide the rearmament build up from the rest of the world. Around 58,000 or so were made under the G coding system. A very interesting and rare pistol. Magazine is wood base and un numbered. CONDITION: THIS PISTOL HAS BEEN REFINISHED AT SOME POINT! Metal has 95% finish with frosted bore. Grips are excellent and magazine dose not hold toggle open. Pistol operates normally. C&R
