The design is based on the coat of arms of Toledo, Spain, which was granted by Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor.

Carved with a crowned Imperial double headed eagle supporting a shield with the quartered arms of Castile and Leon, mounted with two pairs of swords each blade with intricate scrolled designs. Toledo Spain
