Available here for your consideration are two nice Fleming marked horse bits.
One is a curb bit and has silver mounted shanks and a ported mouth piece with a copper roller. There is also a slobber chain and rein rings. The other bit has engraved silver cheeks, conchos and a ported mouthpiece. This bit also has an engraved slobber bar. The history of bits and spurs in North America begins with the Spanish who first came to the new world in the 1500s, bringing horses and livestock with them. The Spanish colonial style is the predecessor of the Californian and Mexican styles we know today. These are fine examples of that heritage. Make your bid today!

APPROX AGE: Vintage.
SIZE: Both bits measure 5 inches wide on mouth portion. One set measures 7 inches long and the other measures 8 inches long in total length.
