1920s Art Deco Enameled Mesh Evening Purse, Whting and Davis

Description

Art Deco flapper evening purse dating to the 1920s, executed in painted metal armor mesh with scalloped lower edge. Features a structured silvertone frame with reticulated pierced geometric floral designs, by Whiting & Davis. Measures approx. 7 1/8" H x 4 7/8" W with a strap drop of approx. 6 3/4". In good vintage condition with general wear to polychrome decoration and metal finish consistent with age.
