Knoll Associates, USA, designed c. 1954, manufactured 1961 - 1970, chromed metal and grey wool fabric, one with integrated end table, chromed metal, walnut, glass; with label "Knoll Associates, Inc. / 320 Park Avenue / New York 22. N. Y." to underside of end table; each sofa: 30 x 90 x 28 in., seat height: 16 in., table: 17 1/2 x 30 x 29 in. Provenance: Property from the Estate of renowned Los Angeles architect Abe Shapiro, celebrated for landmarks such as the illustrious Blair House in the Wilshire Corridor, the Longford and the Diplomat.
Condition
Overall good. Fabric in good condition, with no tears and no apparent stains. Minor marks and scratches to chromed metal. The glass with a few faint scratches, and no chips or cracks. Sun fading and a few minor marks to wood finish. Overall structurally sound. Please note that the absence of a condition report does not indicate that the lot is in perfect condition.
