PELLI CESAR: (1926-2019) Argentine-American Architect. Pelli has designed some of the world´s tallest buildings, including the World Financial Center in New York City. Widely considered one of the ten most influential living American architects of his time. Scarce A.L.S., `Cesar´, one page, 4to, New Haven, 25th February 1981, to Peter, on the printed stationery of the Yale University School of Architecture. Pelli makes an interesting architectural comment, stating `Thank you for giving such a good talk. I enjoyed it thoroughly; perhaps because this is a period of architecture that is now almost completely forgotten.´ VG to EX
