DOS PASSOS JOHN: (1896-1970) American novelist, remembered for his U.S.A. trilogy. A.L.S., John Dos Passos, one page, 4to, Westmoreland, Virginia, 4th May 1958, to Mr. Seward. Dos Passos states that he is trying to cut down on lectures, explaining that he finds them very time consuming, and remarking ´My method has been to set the fee at $500. As it looks now I´ll be spending the fall down here, so it wouldn´t be too hard to arrange a date´. A few light, minor creases to the edges, otherwise VG
