A good vintage signed and inscribed 11 x 14 photograph by both the Duke and Duchess of Windsor individually, the image depicting the couple in head and shoulders poses together, the Duke wearing a military uniform and ribbons, and the Duchess a black gown and pearl choker necklace. Photograph by Dorothy Wilding and signed by her in pencil beneath the image and with her printed label affixed to the verso featuring addresses in Old Bond Street, London, and Fifth Avenue, New York (the latter being the studio where the present photograph was taken on 5th November 1943). Signed (´Edward´) by the Duke and signed (´Wallis Windsor´) by the Duchess, both in black fountain pen inks to the lower tissue mount, the Duchess adding an inscription (´To Jack´) and the year, 1947, in her hand.
