1968 Goebel porcelain figurine depicting John Lennon from Yellow Submarine. Standing approximately 8.5" high, this example represents a pre-production prototype from the original limited 1968 Yellow Submarine porcelain series produced for the American market.

The figure matches the form of the commercial production version but lacks the psychedelic hand-applied decoration seen on the retail release figures. Impressed on the underside with "Bull 308" to the right foot and "1968" to the left, along with the blue three-line "? by / W. Goebel / W. Germany" mark.

Condition is Very Good Plus, with John's pinkie finger missing. The glaze shows minor wear and discoloration consistent with age but retains an overall glossy appearance.
