Mahogany body with brass hardware, rack-and-pinion focusing, adjustable rear standard, and black accordion bellows mounted on a sliding wooden base. Fitted with a brass Dallmeyer Rapid Rectilinear lens engraved "J.H. Dallmeyer, London," serial No. 38083, and marked "8-1/2 x 6-1/2," indicating the intended plate size. Lens also bears patent markings. Condition shows expected age-related wear to the wood finish and oxidation/patina to brass components; bellows appear intact.
