A striking midcentury Italian micromosaic double frame, hand-set with vibrant glass tesserae in rich red, cobalt, emerald, and ivory. The symmetrical twin-oval design is framed by a scrolling floral border inspired by classical Roman mosaic patterns, revived in Italy for the luxury souvenir market of the 1950s–60s.

Each tiny tile was individually placed, creating a luminous surface that shifts beautifully in the light. Finished with a gilt brass surround and folding easel back, this frame was designed for tabletop display and would have originally held treasured travel or family portraits.
