Four hunting hounds are shown surrounding the figure in a field of grass. The piece contains several handwritten inscriptions in the lower right: The Long Knife, J. Dennis, known as Nightstalker from a fellow long shirt, and the signature David Wright 91 with a copyright symbol. The drawing is double-matted in neutral tones and set within a carved wooden frame featuring beaded and rope-twist borders.
