This is a beautiful and authentic framed Hermès silk scarf named "L'Élégance et le Confort en Automobile". It was designed by Caty Latham in 1996.

The design draws on classic automotive imagery, combining refined line work, balanced composition, and a restrained color palette typical of period travel and advertising art. It reflects Hermès' longstanding relationship with carriage-making and luxury travel, translating that heritage into a sophisticated, narrative visual style. The frame is made from durable aluminium for a timeless and elegant look. It includes a white mat board border, crystal-clear acrylic glass and a sturdy wooden backboard for lasting support.
