Nice Silver Mounted Moro Dagger & Sheath

Description

Philippines, Fine Moro silver mounted and inlaid dagger with sheath. The handle in an exotic burl wood with the form of a abstract zoomorphic head inlaid with beautiful silver engraved discs to either side. Base of the grip with a fine silver sleeve above an engraved guard with bar to pommel. Straight single edged blade with silver inlaid scrolling patterns to the initial section(some loss to inlay). Scabbard in a dark red wood with 4 bands of elegantly engraved silver. Size 15 1/2" L, blade 10 3/4" L, thickest part of spine 2/10" W, handle cracked a little
