Description

Philippines, probably Visayan, Late 19th - Early 20th century. Excellent and large bolo short sword with later tooled leather sheath. Hand forged blade with a broad single edge and wide belly. Carabao horn handle in characteristic full relief of a raised first clenching sword handle with a band of fine foliate carving to the wrist. 21"
