Pair of carved head dolls. Doll 1) 14" Model No. 101, April 1912-1923 (Note: Carol Corson's book "Schoenhut Dolls" states that it was reissued in 1930 as a blonde. This doll may be of that date.) Painted blue bow on side of head. Brown painted eyes. Smiling mouth with painted teeth. Oval decal on back of torso. No original clothing, wearing a vintage cotton dress, pantaloons. No shoes, socks. Condition: rub on nose. Wear on head. Repair/repaint of finger on right hand. No repaint visible on head. Doll 2) 16" Model No. 102, 1911-1923. Blue intaglio eyes, carved and painted blue bow at back of head. Incised mark on back of torso. No original clothing, she is wearing a vintage cotton dress, pinafore, underwear, socks. Red oilcloth shoes. Condition: head has been repainted including hair. Body has been repainted. This lot is being sold AS IS.
