20" Unmarked (STEINER) "BEBE GIGOTEUR" solid dome doll. Blue paperweight eyes, open mouth showing teeth, pierced ears, blonde fur wig. Mechanical key-wind body with papier mache 1 pc. arms, lower legs. Papier mache torso with area from hips top knees being leather covered. Key comes out of left side of torso. There are two holes in the back where pull cords for crier may have been (no longer on doll). Dressed in all antique white cotton clothing. Lace Bertha collar, lace over skirt, plain liner. Stiffened petticoat, eyelet petticoat. Net stockings, black leather shoes marked DEPOSE. Goldtone bracelet, decorated brown straw hat. Condition: nothing observed on bisque.
