American Stained Canted Side Stepback Cupboard

Description

American Stained Canted Side Stepback Cupboard, 19th Century. Flush cornice/top molding, two paneled cupboard doors opening to a shelved interior, outset lower cupboard with two paneled cupboard doors opening to an unshelved interior. Iron H-hinges; lower section with pivoting wood latch.
Dimensions: 86" H x 48 1/2" W x 18" D (top) or 23" D (base)

Condition

Traces of earlier green paint. Molding loss to proper lefty upper vertical edge below cornice. Losses adjacent to hinges. Extensive losses to backboard and both bottom edges of both sides from wood worm.
